Lewis Wons vs John MacConnell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 02/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Wons (8 - 19(1) - 2) who hails from Chicago, USA and John MacConnell(11 - 7(1) - 4) from Joliet, USA.  Wons weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while MacConnell weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Walls, and the three ringside judges are Jack Fiddes, Inigo Gillies and Rex McNiven.
