Vicente Napoles vs Juan Che

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Universidad EAFIT, Medellin,  taking place on 03/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Napoles (16(10) - 1) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and Juan Che(0 - 3 - 1) from Cali, Colombia.  Napoles weighed in at 108 pounds, while Che weighed in at 107 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Sagun, and the three ringside judges are Yago Villaflor, Joaquin Montesano and Xavion Porro.  

Round 1: 

Napoles steps inside and digs in a right hook to Che's body.  
Napoles is on target with a right uppercut to Che's body.  
Napoles lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Che quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Napoles lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Napoles ties up his opponent.  Napoles is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Napoles about fouling.  Che recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Che is looking to close the distance.  Napoles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Che walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Napoles connects with a cross.  
Che steps inside.  Che pivots to the left of his opponent.  Napoles digs in a firm right hook to Che's ribs.  Napoles holds on to his opponent.  Napoles leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Napoles hits home with a left hook.  Napoles clinches his opponent.  Napoles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Napoles forces Che to back into a neutral corner.  Napoles lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Napoles closes the distance and digs in a sharp right hook to Che's body.  
Napoles drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  Napoles holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Napoles pushes his forearm into Che's face.  The referee warns Napoles and breaks the clinch.  
Napoles digs in a left uppercut to Che's body.  
Napoles drives a right uppercut into Che's ribcage.  
Che steps inside.  Napoles lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Che advances into close range.  Napoles drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Napoles drives a right uppercut into Che's body.  Napoles clinches his opponent.  Napoles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Napoles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Napoles forces Che to back into the ropes.  Napoles lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Napoles ties up his opponent.  Napoles leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Napoles's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Che almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Napoles DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  CHE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Napoles holds on to his opponent.  Che leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Che quickly recovers. 
Napoles digs in a left hook to Che's liver.  
Napoles lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Napoles hits home with a left hook.  
Napoles SLAMS a mean right hook into his opponents face.  CHE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Napoles tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Napoles drives a sharp left uppercut into Che's body.  Napoles ties up his opponent.  Napoles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Napoles's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Napoles thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Che away.  Napoles lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a cross to the head, AND SENDS CHE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Napoles lands a big left hook.  CHE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Che now seems to have his senses back.  
Napoles lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CHE DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Napoles!
