Ian Kettles vs Johnny Downie

Boxing Daily Report from the Arrow Fighting Group promoted show at Colorado Springs Cattell, Colorado Springs,  taking place on 03/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Kettles (18(2) - 5 - 1) who hails from Fort Collins, USA and Johnny Downie(9(1) - 13(2) - 2) from Denver, USA.  Both Kettles and Downie weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Pollick, and the three ringside judges are William Mutch, Rich Bayne and Rob Balmer.  

Round 1: 

Downie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Downie tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
