Eiji Iwamoto vs Yoshi Uchiyama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Yodogawa Ward Center, Osaka,  taking place on 04/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Osaka Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Iwamoto (8 - 7 - 2) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Yoshi Uchiyama(11 - 13(2) - 5) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Iwamoto and Uchiyama weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aoi Nishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Shiba, Jun Nakahara and Hikaru Mayeda.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Iwamoto dabs at his face checking for damage.
