Myrl Mandel vs Ulrich Schaeffler

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 28/08/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Myrl Mandel (7 - 0) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Ulrich Schaeffler(7 - 19 - 4) from Essen, Germany.  Both Mandel and Schaeffler weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wendell Jahr, and the three ringside judges are Berowalt Manweiler, Wilson Gay and Balwin Gelhaus.  

Round 1: 

Mandel is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mandel closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  Mandel clinches his opponent.  Mandel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mandel lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mandel pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mandel pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Mandel throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Mandel holds on to his opponent.  Mandel uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Schaeffler's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Schaeffler throws a right hook, but Mandel ties up his opponent.  Mandel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mandel feints a jab, and then digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mandel digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mandel throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Mandel clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mandel digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Schaeffler's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Schaeffler's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
