Angel Ferrin vs Cipriano Rogel

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at American Casino, Asuncion,  taking place on 25/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Ferrin (9(3) - 1) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Cipriano Rogel(6 - 11 - 2) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Ferrin and Rogel weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Lugar, and the three ringside judges are Montana Mota, Ivan Chino and Vegas Marrero.  

Round 1: 

Rogel gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Rogel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ferrin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Rogel manouvers Ferrin onto the ropes.  Ferrin lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ferrin attempts to land a right hook, but Rogel parries the shot and counters with a cross.  Rogel almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ferrin tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Ferrin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rogel closes the distance.  Ferrin is on target with a firm left hook.  
Rogel walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ferrin lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, AND DROPS ROGEL!  He manages to get up at 5.  Rogel quickly recovers. 
Rogel closes the distance.  Ferrin lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Ferrin is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rogel manouvers Ferrin onto the ropes.  Ferrin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Rogel gets on the inside.  Ferrin lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Ferrin switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ferrin lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Ferrin is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROGEL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ferrin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ferrin lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING ROGEL TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Rogel is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Ferrin!
