Ayanda Phiri vs Joe Van Jaarsveld

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 05/09/2027:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ayanda Phiri (5 - 1 - 1) who hails from Boksburg, South Africa and Joe Van Jaarsveld(3 - 1 - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Phiri and Van Jaarsveld weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Oosthuizen, and the three ringside judges are Vuyisile Sekola, Johnny Kamalebo and Peter Mbalula.
