Lewis Morris vs Jiro Kuse

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayim Promotions promoted show at Kawaguchi Lilia Music Hall, Kawaguchi,  taking place on 07/09/2027:

Clearly Ayim Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Morris (25(18) - 0 - 1) who hails from Rochester, USA and Jiro Kuse(4 - 5(1) - 1 - 1(NC)) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Morris and Kuse weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Mihara, Eiji Kawashima and Hiroki Noda.  

Round 1: 

Kuse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morris lands a cross.  
Morris is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Morris lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kuse cuts off the ring, trapping Morris on the ropes.  Kuse lands a cross.  
Morris lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Morris waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Kuse attempts to land a jab, but Morris sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Morris is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kuse recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Morris steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kuse quickly recovers. 
Morris feints a cross, fooling Kuse into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Morris springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Morris lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Morris steps to the outside and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Morris lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Morris is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Morris lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Morris throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Morris sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Morris throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Morris is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a firm cross.  
Morris sidesteps to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Morris lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kuse is on target with a cross.  
Kuse steps away from his opponent.  Kuse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Morris throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Morris drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Kuse throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a WICKED right uppercut.  KUSE IS HURT!  
Morris is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Morris lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the head, AND KUSE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Kuse now seems to have got his legs back.

Morris lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Morris lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Morris steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.

Morris feints a cross, tricking Kuse into launching a right hook counter.  Morris avoids the shot and counters with a nasty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE KUSE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Morris knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Morris EXPLODES a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  KUSE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Morris lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS KUSE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Kuse now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Kuse attempts to land a cross, but Morris sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kuse manouvers Morris onto the ropes.  Kuse pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kuse tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a DEVASTATING cross.  KUSE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE KUSE CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Morris!
