Hsin Chien vs Ming Owyang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shandong promoted show at Quon Yu Gym, Jinan,  taking place on 05/09/2027:

Clearly AI China-Shandong have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Shandong Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hsin Chien (6 - 8 - 4) who hails from Qingdao, China and Ming Owyang(4 - 6 - 2) from Qingdao, China.  Both Chien and Owyang weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hui-chao Xiong, and the three ringside judges are Confucius Sung, Kong Yun and Hsin Ju.  

Round 1: 

Chien throws a left hook, but Owyang ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Owyang pushes his forearm into Chien's face.  The referee warns Owyang and breaks the clinch.  
Owyang is on target with a left hook.  
Chien walks his opponent onto the ropes.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Owyang dabs at his face checking for damage.  Owyang has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Owyang finds the target with a jab.  Owyang tries to land a jab, but Chien blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chien lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.
