Goos Cloete vs Montraie Shongwe

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 11/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa-Gauteng Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wingwhipping Goos Cloete (16 - 2 - 4) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Montraie Shongwe(11 - 11(2) - 3) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Cloete and Shongwe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Ntambwe, and the three ringside judges are Michael Grobbelaar, Jabulani Segolela and Luvolwethu Motupa.  

Round 1: 

Shongwe steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.
