Odilon Mendy vs Valentin Gary

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade de DUC Dakar, Dakar,  taking place on 20/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odilon Mendy (24 - 1) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Valentin Gary(12 - 5) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Both Mendy and Gary weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Acelin Mollere, and the three ringside judges are Yves Diedhiou, Aramis Gassama and Romain Ndong.  

Round 1: 

Mendy steps inside and lands a left hook.
