Angel Cueto vs Xaver Casares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Mendoza promoted show at Mendoza Nunez, Mendoza,  taking place on 10/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Cueto (17(1) - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Xaver Casares(12 - 6 - 3) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Cueto weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Casares weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Morro, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Malle, Diego Agron and Carlos Cala.  

Round 1: 

Cueto advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Cueto holds on to his opponent.  Cueto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cueto steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Cueto gets on the inside and manouvers Casares onto the ropes.  Cueto lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Cueto lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cueto connects with a left hook.  
Cueto steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Casares dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Casares.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Cueto advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Cueto gets on the inside.  Cueto pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cueto walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Cueto connects with a sharp right hook.  
Cueto gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Casares steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Cueto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cueto steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Casares's body.  Cueto tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
