Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Melbourne Fedorovtsev, Melbourne,  taking place on 12/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Victoria Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John McQuistion (11 - 6 - 2) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and John Economides(8 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both McQuistion and Economides weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Mun, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Barfoot, Leighton McPherson and Gareth Dovey.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McQuistion dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to McQuistion.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
