Gareth Drennan vs Leonel Lares

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Centennial Gardens, Bakersfield,  taking place on 14/10/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Drennan (23(7) - 2(1)) who hails from Anaheim, USA and Leonel Lares(19 - 4(3)) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Drennan and Lares weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Lee Copland, Mark Cardozo and Danyaal Ghazi.
