Nasario Plata vs Fidel Alba

Boxing Daily Report from the FreeSmokeJr816 promoted show at Macumba Habana, Havana,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Cuba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nasario Plata (22(12) - 0) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Fidel Alba(15 - 4(2) - 2) from Las Tunas, Cuba.  Both Plata and Alba weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Tadeo, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Llamas, Montel Albarran and Santiago Villano.  

Round 1: 

Plata feints a jab, fooling Alba into launching a left uppercut counter.  Plata springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.

Alba steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Alba closes the distance and manages to force Plata onto the ropes.  Alba throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Plata tries to land a left hook, but Alba slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
