Santiago Alva vs Nasario Basto

Boxing Daily Report from the Nzeyi Promotions promoted show at Belo Horizonte Machuca, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 13/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Minas Gerais Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Alva (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Nasario Basto(13 - 1 - 1) from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  Alva weighed in at 199 pounds and 6 ounces, while Basto weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cisco Reis, and the three ringside judges are Leonel Cardoza, Manny Henriques and Neron Socorro.
