Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at UBC Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, Vancouver,  taking place on 30/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Shayan Sharifi (10(7) - 0) who hails from Hyderabad, India and Johnny Motto(2 - 0 - 1) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Sharifi weighed in at 252 pounds and 9 ounces, while Motto weighed in at 230 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Blake Chisholm, and the three ringside judges are Mike Messer, Jacob Peairs and Spencer Clary.  

Round 1: 

Sharifi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sharifi lands a right hook.  Sharifi ties up his opponent.  Sharifi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Motto behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sharifi manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Sharifi pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Sharifi digs in a left uppercut to Motto's body.  
Sharifi is on target with a left hook.  Sharifi holds on to his opponent.  Sharifi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sharifi to stop fouling.  
Sharifi sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Motto drives a right hook into Sharifi's body.  Motto attempts to land a right hook, but Sharifi sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Motto's body.

Sharifi connects with a weighty left hook.  MOTTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Motto almost instantly gets his legs back.

Sharifi pivots to the side of his opponent and SLAMS a FIERCE right hook into his opponents face.  MOTTO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Motto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sharifi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Sharifi digs in a sharp left hook to Motto's body.  Sharifi attempts to land a left hook, but Motto blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
