Corey Chipeta vs Dave Chigumbura

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds, Harare,  taking place on 09/10/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Zimbabwe Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Corey Chipeta (14 - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Dave Chigumbura(7 - 5 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Chipeta weighed in at 175 pounds, while Chigumbura weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Mutasa, and the three ringside judges are James Mupariwa, Dillon Mutasa and Steven Joubert.
