Phil McFarlane vs Bart Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 04/09/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Phil McFarlane (23 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Bart Gallagher(12 - 12(1) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  McFarlane weighed in at 122 pounds, while Gallagher weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cullen, and the three ringside judges are Martin MacBeth, Peter McAlister and Angus Greenaway.  

Round 1: 

McFarlane steps inside and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
McFarlane lands with a ramrod jab.

Gallagher sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McFarlane drives a left hook into his opponents body.

McFarlane gets on the inside.  Gallagher pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gallagher throws a right hook, but McFarlane clinches his opponent.  McFarlane pushes his forearm into Gallagher's face.  The referee warns McFarlane and breaks the clinch.

McFarlane steps inside and lands a right hook.  McFarlane clinches his opponent.  McFarlane leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McFarlane lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
McFarlane throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  McFarlane clinches his opponent.  McFarlane is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

McFarlane digs in a right hook to Gallagher's body.  McFarlane ties up his opponent.  Gallagher is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McFarlane gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gallagher dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McFarlane finds the target with a solid jab.  McFarlane throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Gallagher's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
