Joaquin Curiel vs Vicente Mena

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Camaguey promoted show at Olindo Corral Gym, Camaguey,  taking place on 16/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Curiel (7 - 7 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Vicente Mena(4 - 2 - 3) from Camaguey, Cuba.  Both Curiel and Mena weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Diaz, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Laureano, Reyes Correa and Diego Arellanes.  

Round 1: 

Mena steps inside and drives a right hook into Curiel's ribs.
