Lee Whitehead vs Daniel Pye

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 17/09/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lee Whitehead (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Daniel Pye(13 - 4(1)) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Whitehead and Pye weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Patariki, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Max Weatherspoon and Blake Brown.  

Round 1: 

Whitehead hits home with an overhand right.
