Lukman Faress vs Kyan Awal

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Razak, Accra,  taking place on 18/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Greater Accra Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lukman Faress (17 - 3 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Kyan Awal(13 - 9 - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Faress weighed in at 247 pounds and 12 ounces, while Awal weighed in at 241 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Asante, and the three ringside judges are Richie Buah, Nabulung Akoto and Shevon Adusei.
