Juan Borbon vs Villard Obie

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at New City Gas, Montreal,  taking place on 25/09/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Borbon (12(10) - 0) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Villard Obie(11 - 17(3) - 2) from Quebec City, Canada.  Both Borbon and Obie weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erec Adore, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Verrier Luna and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Obie connects with a cross.  
Borbon gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Obie tries to keep the action at long range.  Borbon hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Borbon steps inside and digs in a solid right uppercut to Obie's body.  Borbon ties up his opponent.  Borbon pushes his forearm into Obie's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borbon feints a cross, and then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Borbon steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Obie tries to keep the action at long range.  Obie feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross.  
Borbon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Borbon lands a left hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  Borbon holds on to his opponent.  Borbon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Borbon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Borbon digs in a stinging left hook to Obie's liver.

Obie switches the action to the outside.  Borbon lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.
