Rob Labi vs Hemminki Mieto

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Aviva Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Labi (25(1) - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Hemminki Mieto(11 - 6(1) - 5) from Helsinki, Finland.  Labi weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mieto weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Billy Ruane, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Brisbane, John Hyland and Jason Farrell.  

Round 1: 

Labi gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Labi ties up his opponent.  Labi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Labi about fouling.  
Labi digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Labi advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Labi is looking to close the distance.  Labi lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Labi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Labi throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Labi ties up his opponent.  Labi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Labi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Mieto feints a cross, and then finds the target with a stinging jab.  Mieto tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Labi walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Labi lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Labi ties up his opponent.  Labi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mieto behind the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Labi has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
