Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Coliseo ReserClub de Pueblo Libre, Lima,  taking place on 12/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Urvano Medel (3(2) - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Felippe Cortinas(0 - 8 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Medel weighed in at 112 pounds, while Cortinas weighed in at 111 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jax Amaro, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Canchola, Joaquin Florentino and Quito Rufino.  

Round 1: 

Medel lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cortinas recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Medel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cortinas behind the head. Medel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Medel is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Cortinas gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Medel ties up his opponent.  Medel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Medel tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Medel is looking to keep his distance.  Medel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head. Cortinas recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Medel lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CORTINAS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Medel!
