Neper Villarruel vs Sagaz Miranda

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Coliseo ReserClub de Pueblo Libre, Lima,  taking place on 12/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Neper Villarruel (2 - 0) who hails from Huacho, Peru and Sagaz Miranda(0 - 2) from Lima, Peru.  Villarruel weighed in at 118 pounds, while Miranda weighed in at 117 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Florentino, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Canchola, Jax Amaro and Quito Rufino.  

Round 1:

Miranda steps inside and forces Villarruel to back into the ropes.  Villarruel throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Villarruel clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Villarruel pushes his forearm into Miranda's face.  The referee warns Villarruel and breaks the clinch.  
Villarruel is on target with a jab.

Villarruel steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Villarruel clinches his opponent.  Villarruel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Villarruel tries to keep the action at long range.  Villarruel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
