Damodar Kunjir vs Majid Daoud

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Uttar Pradesh promoted show at Kanpur Midaliar, Kanpur,  taking place on 20/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Uttar Pradesh Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Damodar Kunjir (9 - 0) who hails from Kanpur, India and Majid Daoud(14 - 1) from Kanpur, India.  Both Kunjir and Daoud weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashok Bhattacharya, and the three ringside judges are Lochan Rao, Zuffur Khalid and Mahinder Bhunder.
