Shinji Kato vs Akira Kawamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Nippon Gaishi Arena, Nagoya,  taking place on 04/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Kato (17 - 4(1)) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Akira Kawamoto(9 - 3(1) - 4) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Kato and Kawamoto weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Kobayashi, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Murakami, Yuji Tanaka and Yutaka Okubo.  

Round 1: 

Kato digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.
