Khaliq Askerov vs Qabil Mardanov

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Qabil Gadjarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 22/09/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khaliq Askerov (4 - 14(1) - 3) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Qabil Mardanov(13 - 5) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Askerov and Mardanov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nasimi Bacho, and the three ringside judges are Ulfet Kadyrov, Hafiz Allahverdiev and Urfan Abaskuliyev.  

Round 1:
