Charles Irungu vs Nuru Verjee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 23/09/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Irungu (13 - 4(2) - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nuru Verjee(14 - 6(1) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Irungu weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces, while Verjee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Lone, and the three ringside judges are Noah Odoyo, Lisimba Kimeli and LeBron Naikuni.
