Davie Mwangombe vs Elliot Okemo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Naivasha Mbugua, Naivasha,  taking place on 23/09/2027:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nakuru have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Mwangombe (7 - 11 - 2) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Elliot Okemo(8 - 4 - 5) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Both Mwangombe and Okemo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Halaby, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Shaheen, Mike Redsan and David Beauttah.  

Round 1: 

Okemo closes the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mwangombe dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Mwangombe.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Okemo gets on the inside.  Mwangombe lands a left hook.  
Mwangombe tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
