Agapetus Baena vs Montego Pelayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Jigarkhanian Promotions promoted show at Jeraldo Vayo Gym, Celaya,  taking place on 26/08/2027:

Clearly Jigarkhanian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Agapetus Baena (7 - 15(1) - 7) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Montego Pelayo(2 - 16 - 3) from Leon, Mexico.  Baena weighed in at 122 pounds, while Pelayo weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Camara, and the three ringside judges are Jose Nova, Cruz Pilar and Alejandro Monte.  

Round 1: 

Pelayo gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Baena throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Baena hits home with a cross.  
Baena feints a cross and triggers a right hook counter from Pelayo.  Baena avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Pelayo gets on the inside.  Pelayo is on target with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Baena.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Pelayo gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Pelayo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Pelayo lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.
