Lao-Tzu Hsiao vs Mitsuru Nishi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Kyoto Maekawa, Kyoto,  taking place on 04/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lao-Tzu Tiāndì Hsiao (18(17) - 0 - 1) who hails from Zigong, China and Mitsuru Nishi(8 - 8(1) - 1) from Koshigaya, Japan.  Both Hsiao and Nishi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taro Matsuoka, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Tominaga, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Nao Mori.  

Round 1: 

Hsiao pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab to Nishi's body.  
Hsiao tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Hsiao lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.

Hsiao sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands with a stiff jab.

Hsiao lands three consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Hsiao knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Hsiao lands a nasty right uppercut.  NISHI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Nishi now seems to have his senses back.  
Hsiao lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Hsiao connects with a cross.  
Hsiao feints a right hook, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hsiao connects with a WICKED cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE NISHI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Nishi forces Hsiao to retreat onto the ropes.  Hsiao stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Nishi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FEROCIOUS right hook.  
Nishi steps away from his opponent.  Hsiao senses Nishi is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Hsiao lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING NISHI DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Nishi now seems to have his senses back.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nishi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nishi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Nishi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Nishi's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Hsiao feints a jab, tricking Nishi into throwing a right hook counter.  Hsiao is waiting for the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Hsiao lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hsiao tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands a firm cross.  
Hsiao lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hsiao lands a telling left hook.  NISHI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Hsiao tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hsiao senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Hsiao lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS NISHI!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Hsiao!
