Hiroki Uyeda vs Keiichi Otani

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Kurume City Plaza Grand Hall, Kurume,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Uyeda (10 - 13 - 5) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Keiichi Otani(9(1) - 2) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Both Uyeda and Otani weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Iwasaki, and the three ringside judges are Akira Nishimura, Ryuu Komatsu and Ryo Kaba.  

Round 1: 

Uyeda throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Otani hits home with a right hook.  Otani ties up his opponent.  Uyeda pushes his forearm into Otani's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Otani lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

Otani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Uyeda hits home with a cross.

Otani is looking to close the distance.  Uyeda throws a left uppercut, but Otani clinches his opponent.  Otani pushes his forearm into Uyeda's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Otani about fouling.
