Gig Frances vs Montel Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Desiderio Siguenza Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 25/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Frances (9 - 5 - 5) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Montel Ruano(2 - 10 - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Frances and Ruano weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urvano Barraza, and the three ringside judges are Senon Simeon, Porfio Artiga and Xavier Puerta.  

Round 1: 

Frances gets on the inside and lands a left hook.
