Aftab Shabazz vs Thompson Goje

Boxing Daily Report from the Munatamba Promotions promoted show at Benin City Madaki, Benin City,  taking place on 23/09/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Edo State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Shabazz (8(4) - 1 - 1) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Thompson Goje(8 - 1(1)) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Both Shabazz and Goje weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ifeanyi Ezuruonye, and the three ringside judges are Ifeanyi Chukunyere, Godfrey Adejobi and Charles Adelaye.  

Round 1: 

Shabazz steps to the outside.  Goje attempts to land a jab, but Shabazz dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
