Anele Mashaba vs Anele Modjeka

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anele Mashaba (12 - 9(2) - 1) who hails from iBhayi, South Africa and Anele Modjeka(13 - 9(2) - 8) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Mashaba and Modjeka weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bakwamba, and the three ringside judges are Nwa Ntuli, Vince Van Deventer and Jackson Mnyamane.
