Billy Thornton vs Elliot Cain

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at USA-Oregon Gym, Portland,  taking place on 02/09/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Oregon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Billy Thornton (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Eugene, USA and Elliot Cain(14 - 2) from Portland, USA.  Both Thornton and Cain weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Mijares, Gregor Riach and Ethan Mingus.  

Round 1: 

Cain is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cain holds on to his opponent.  Cain pushes his forearm into Thornton's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cain to stop fouling.
