Odhert Gehrmann vs Kay Geckler

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Brose Arena, Nuremberg,  taking place on 23/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odhert Gehrmann (10(5) - 0) who hails from Regensburg, Germany and Kay Geckler(10 - 4(1) - 2) from Leipzig, Germany.  Gehrmann weighed in at 130 pounds, while Geckler weighed in at 129 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnaud Agers, and the three ringside judges are Bertram Stockner, Maximilian Berth and Wilber Sapper.  

Round 1: 

Gehrmann gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into Geckler's body.  
Gehrmann lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gehrmann pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Geckler's ribs.

Gehrmann advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Geckler is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gehrmann finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Gehrmann pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Gehrmann is on target with a sharp left hook to Geckler's liver.  As Gehrmann tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Geckler dabs at his face checking for damage.  Geckler has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Gehrmann closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Geckler blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Geckler switches the action to the outside.  Gehrmann is on target with a jab.  
Gehrmann sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Geckler's body.  
Gehrmann is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.
