Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 23/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Mbanefo (23(10) - 4(1)) who hails from Buguma, Nigeria and Kashif Salloum(13 - 5(1)) from Okpoko, Nigeria.  Both Mbanefo and Salloum weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Pryce, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Deasmhumhain, Corey Pait and Dave Evan.
