Juan Redondo vs Reyes Cabanilla

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Miranda promoted show at Caracas Loyola, Caracas,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Venezuela-Miranda Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Redondo (8 - 7 - 6) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Reyes Cabanilla(8 - 11 - 2) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Both Redondo and Cabanilla weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Haro, and the three ringside judges are Xeres Luis, Vicente Rota and Quiqui Serafin.  

Round 1: 

Cabanilla lands a cross.  
Cabanilla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cabanilla throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cabanilla is looking to close the distance.  Redondo lands a left hook.  
Cabanilla steps inside.  Cabanilla sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cabanilla throws a left hook, but Redondo ties up his opponent.  Cabanilla is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Redondo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cabanilla gets on the inside.  Cabanilla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Redondo switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.

Cabanilla forces Redondo to back into the ropes.  Redondo connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Redondo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Redondo is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Redondo advances into close range.  Cabanilla sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cabanilla tries to land a right hook, but Redondo dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Redondo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.
