Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Sydney Ashdown, Sydney,  taking place on 02/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Fatjon Kalaj (2 - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Callum Cassie(0 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Kalaj weighed in at 135 pounds, while Cassie weighed in at 134 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart Aday, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Mescall, Geoff Crafford and Max Ogletree.

Cassie manages to force Kalaj into the corner.  Kalaj lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Kalaj ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Cassie now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Kalaj sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Kalaj lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND CASSIE IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Kalaj!
