Daniel Lawman vs Matt Paden

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kansas promoted show at Joshua Marchbanks Gym, Wichita,  taking place on 12/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniel Lawman (12(3) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Matt Paden(4 - 5 - 3) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Both Lawman and Paden weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Ghee, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Glasgow, Arthur Trumble and James Polson.  

Round 1: 

Lawman closes the distance and drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.

Paden tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Paden's ribs.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Paden dabs at his face checking for damage.  Paden has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut .

Lawman senses Paden is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Lawman digs in a potent right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  PADEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  It looks like Paden has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
