Fumio Tanaka vs Jun Shimomura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Shizuoka promoted show at Kei Kuroda Gym, Fuji,  taking place on 15/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fumio Tanaka (13 - 4) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Jun Shimomura(8 - 5 - 3) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Tanaka and Shimomura weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Fujino, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Fukuhara, Aoi Takagi and Kazuhiko Kawata.  

Round 1: 

Shimomura pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Tanaka's body.
