Diego Vasconcellos vs Joaquin Trillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Players Only promoted show at Mexico City Tejeda, Mexico City,  taking place on 13/10/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Vasconcellos (15 - 9 - 3) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Joaquin Trillo(11 - 6 - 5) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Vasconcellos weighed in at 231 pounds And 3 ounces, while Trillo weighed in at 247 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ryo Calistro, and the three ringside judges are Eduardo Armendariz, Frisco Olivar and Cris Nepomuceno.  

Round 1: 

Trillo lands a cross.  
Trillo steps inside.  Trillo pivots to the left of his opponent.  Vasconcellos goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Trillo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Trillo hits home with a left uppercut.  
Trillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Trillo is looking to close the distance.  Trillo is on target with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vasconcellos dabs at his face checking for damage.  Vasconcellos has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
