Aaron Lamont vs Malcolm Eason

Boxing Daily Report from the Yassa Promotions promoted show at Henry Shiel Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 16/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Lamont (14 - 8) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Malcolm Eason(9 - 9(1) - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Lamont weighed in at 200 pounds, while Eason weighed in at 199 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Bach, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Sinton, Dylan Humiston and Antwan Duris.  

Round 1: 

Lamont connects with a cross.  
Eason gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Lamont.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
