Ignado Montesino vs Jose Hermida

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Havana promoted show at Havana Casagrande, Havana,  taking place on 16/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ignado Montesino (15 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Jose Hermida(6 - 10(1) - 7) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Montesino and Hermida weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Limas, and the three ringside judges are Diego Villas, Alejandro Limas and Cortez Bastidas.

Hermida forces Montesino to back into the red corner.  Hermida connects with a cross.

Hermida advances into close range and forces Montesino to retreat into the red corner.  Hermida pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Montesino is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but Hermida parries the shot and counters with a left hook.
