William Telfer vs Alfonso Maddry

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Centennial Gardens, Bakersfield,  taking place on 07/01/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are William Telfer (23(18) - 1(1)) who hails from New York City, USA and Alfonso Maddry(19(11) - 6(5)) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Telfer and Maddry weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Blevens, and the three ringside judges are Sam Cant, Sam Lowe and Zachary Salmond.
