Dmytro Bortnick vs Wasyl Bayuk

Boxing Daily Report from the Papugyan Promotions promoted show at Gomel Polanski, Gomel,  taking place on 17/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Belarus Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Beltelecom, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dmytro Bortnick (16(5) - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Wasyl Bayuk(16 - 7(1) - 1) from Gomel, Belarus.  Both Bortnick and Bayuk weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pylyp Lipka, and the three ringside judges are Vasili Cap, Dmitri Matey and Vitali Roman.  

Round 1: 

Bortnick hits home with a solid cross.
