Abdul Wassan vs Paul Nopendi

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 25/10/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Abdul Wassan (25(5) - 2) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Paul Nopendi(23(17) - 1) from Bekasi, Indonesia.  Wassan weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces, while Nopendi weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Farhan Younis, and the three ringside judges are Shayan Hossain, Rehan Sabet and Gazi Shariff.
